panch-tattva talk…some issues

July 4, 2008

Friends,

The PM has shown some grit by announcing that he will go ahead with ‘nuke’ deal or will resign. The party has rallied behind him and reversely the left froint has confirmed to withdraw support should the govt go ahead with the deal. This tussel was putting pressue on Nifty. In one welcome development for the nation, the SP supremo Mulayam Yadav has smartly moved in direction of supporting the govt. He has changed stance from opposing the deal to now supporting after he met the ex-President Kalam and obtained his view that the deal is good for us. This in fact is very grand move for the BJP too would find it hard to topple the govt on deal issue , afterall Kalam was their choice for presidentship and for whom they left no stone unturned for his re-election but failed. I think this will make political fluidity less of a menace for Nifty.

Now another preblem came from the ministers , in the form of crying for high steel prices and compelling companies to hold steel prices at a level below the market can afford. We Indians know that they are just non-serious type of people and never minding  their business in the right ways. We also know the principle of free trade may not be said good-bye to, by them. However, a foreign party commiting fund in Indian steel and cement sector would be scared and would want to get out. Some thing of that sort is happening too. As I have said many times earlier that some sinister designs are afoot. The silence of SEBI on the issue of continuous assault on Nifty without pronouncing that trading pattern would be looked into, is again a surprise for me and when the cat will be out of the bag you would also open your mouth in awe.

My advice of acting bravely in market place stands.
