The Bank of Japan has announced program to buy assets worth 10 trillion Yen . This is big move and yen naturally will seek lower levels.
I wonder whether there would be any stop to diluting currency values around the world. Who wins and who loses in this game of making currencies lose value? I think the gullible public of all nations loses and smarties make more money i e raise their net worth . The people who have saving in form of cash for there retirement will find it hard to make ends meet. This would be a sorry state of affairs but if there is less of every thing to share in the world or some have greater share than due , some will have to suffer.
The impact on asset prices will only be positive but asset creation will still not happen as the conversion of raw material into products is not going to be more profitable .
